Our Story
Our journey began in 2019 when entrepreneur Ryan Uy launched his first online business venture. He focused on introducing local brands to digital platforms, recognizing a clear need for trustworthy yet affordable options in a market overflowing with choices. Many online brands in the Philippines, while numerous, often left customers dissatisfied due to perceived low quality or deception.

With the rapid adoption of e-commerce during the pandemic, Ryan’s business experienced remarkable growth. It was during this transformative period that the idea of Brand Collective was conceived, and in 2022, our company officially came to life.

Our Team
President
Ryan Uy
Ryan holds an M.B.A. from INSEAD and completed his undergraduate studies in business management at Ateneo de Manila University. Prior to founding Brand Collective, Ryan served as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, specializing in digital transformation projects for companies in the Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Singapore. He also gained experience as a derivatives trader at ING Bank, N.V.

Outside of work, Ryan is an avid classical pianist and has performed with the Manila Symphony Orchestra in his solo debut recital.

Officer
Jane Vegas
Jane earned her bachelor's degree in BSBA major in Human Resources Development Management from EARIST, Manila. Her HR career has spanned various industries in the Philippines, including telecommunications, recruitment, healthcare, and manufacturing, allowing her to develop into a versatile HR professional. As a young leader in the HR field, she brings fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to the table.

Outside of her HR role, Jane is an avid outdoor enthusiast. She loves camping, exploring new destinations, and embarking on adventures.
Digital Marketing Officer
Iana Reyes
Iana is a graduate of Mass Communication with a major in Advertising from La Consolacion College Manila, bringing over eight years of marketing experience that has significantly contributed to the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Additionally, she has over two years of experience at one of the largest multi-format retailers in the country.
She also pursued Culinary Arts, demonstrating her passion for cooking and her commitment to expanding her skill set.
When she's not immersed in her marketing work, she can be found at sea, riding the waves as an enthusiastic "kook" surfer, joyfully embracing her journey to learn and grow in the sport.
Operations Manager
Leny Abalon
Leny Abalon graduated with a degree in Tourism from La Consolacion College but quickly discovered her true passion for operations after graduation and has excelled in this field ever since. With a career spanning over 15 years, she has honed her skills while working with large companies in the Philippines, including Personal and Home Plus Corporation and SM Supermalls Family Entertainment Center Inc.

Outside of work, Leny is a loving and dedicated mother of three.
